Adrian was educated in the UK where he commenced working in 1988 on the commercial side of the Construction Industry, gaining valuable experience across the civil engineering field on infrastructure projects with a strong emphasis towards Asphalt surfacing, completing many Motorway and Dual Carriageway Contracts as well as the runways at Heathrow International Airport.

Arriving in Hong Kong in mid 1997 via a UK consultancy, Adrian was involved in asphalt surfacing projects at the new International Airport with the Pioneer Tarmac Joint Venture, accounting for over 750,000 tonnes of asphalt surfacing to roads, carparks, runways and taxiways. His consulting work continued after the Airports completion for numerous clients in the asphalt and civil engineering industry and in 2002 Adrian joined the Pioneer-Asphalt Surfaces Joint Venture (P-ASJV) to oversee the surfacing works at Container Terminal No.9 Contract at Tsing Yi, and the laying of 270,000 tonnes of asphalt on the roads and terminal itself. Joining ASL direct in 2004, Adrian now oversees the company operations and its expansion from asphalt to other related areas.

In additional to his position at ASL, Adrian is currently the Project Manager of the P-ASJV, overseeing resurfacing and grooving to the North and South Runways as well as the construction and surfacing of new taxiways / cargo aprons at Hong Kong Airport.

Adrian is a Member of the Institute of Asphalt Technology and is the current Deputy Chairman and Director of the Hong Kong Asphalt Pavement Association Limited. Adrian is also a Director of the Hong Kong Construction Materials Association Limited.
